The Post-Emerge Window is Open

The window for applying post-emerge herbicides on corn is open now. Don’t miss your opportunity to stay ahead of the weeds.

Your Halex GT® and Acuron GT® applications can effectively control even the toughest weeds. And to ensure that efficacy, be sure to use the right adjuvant. Federated recommends Enliven®, a premixed adjuvant package with YieldBurst™ technology.

Enliven’s technology includes a non-ionic surfactant (NIS), which is label-required with Halex GT and Acuron GT, and it features an amino acid component that helps the crop move through the dormancy phase while the plants digest the herbicide. Translation: it helps plants hold on to yield potential.

The amino acid component is often referred to as a “biological,” said Kevin Carlson, Federated’s agronomy sales manager. Biologicals are proving themselves helpful for crop health and enhanced weed control.

Additionally, Enliven offers “industry standard drift reduction and coverage technology, AMS-based water conditioning … an ultra-efficient surfactant package for increased coverage and cuticle penetration” (see Enliven product info).

The application rate for Enliven is 16 oz./ac. Always read and follow label directions.

The window for post-emerge applications closes quickly. Call your Federated Agronomist to learn more about Enliven for your post-emerge herbicide application.
