DISCOVERY PLOT DAYS RETURN LIVE AND IN PERSON

Jul 22, 2021

Discovery Plot Days are back, at local farms, August 23-27. After last year’s virtual plot tours due to Covid-19, Federated is pleased to invite growers back to the plots to see and hear about the latest corn hybrids, soybean varieties, and current agronomy topics.

Rod Gustafson, Federated agronomist at the Albertville location, said that each Discovery Plot Day will begin at 10 a.m. with “short presentations under the tent” from Federated Agronomists and product representatives, followed by tours of the corn and soybean plots up close and in person. Each tour will conclude with lunch served on site.

Presentations this year include:

  • - An introduction to Yield Burst™ technology.
    • - Products with Yield Burst technology are featured in plots with side-by-side comparisons. “You’ll see positive results,” said Gustafson.
  • - Discussions about fall fertilizer (subject to change based on August weather).
  • - Q & A with Federated Agronomists.

Dates and locations for Discovery Plot Tours are as follows:

  • Monday, Aug. 23 - Osceola - Gustafson Farm
  • Tuesday, Aug. 24 - Albertville - Patnode Dairy
  • Wednesday, Aug. 25 - Ogilvie - Wilhelm Farm
  • Thursday, Aug. 26 - Isanti - Bostrom Farm
  • Friday, Aug. 27 - Rush City - KGL Farms at Holmstrom's in Harris

Postcard invitations will be mailed soon. Please to your local Federated Agronomist, and we hope to see you in person during this year’s Discovery Plot Days!
