BOOST NUTRIENT AVAILABILITY WITH USA500

Liquid starter fertilizers deliver important nutrients to young plants, and USA500™ added to the starter provides an excellent way to deliver zinc and keep applied phosphate available.

USA500 “protects the nutritional components of applied starter fertilizers” (see fact sheet), and it “helps release the phosphates tied up in the soil” – a key factor in the “big investment” of phosphate, according to Rob Johnson of Rosen’s.

USA500 provides 5% nitrogen (N) and 6% zinc (Z), the latter of which is less readily available to young plants – especially in colder soils due to slow mineralization of soil organic matter. Cooler temperatures also inhibit plant roots from finding the zinc in the soil solution. USA500 helps minimize those possibilities with its EDTA chelated zinc.

In the season-long effort to protect yields and maximize profitability, USA500 can be mixed with any liquid starter fertilizer at a rate of 48 oz./ac. to increase the availability of nitrogen, sulfur, and other nutrients.
