Add Growing Power with Triad
Apr 25, 2023
Triad™ is a growth regulator that promotes yield in corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and cereal grains. It offers a powerful hormone-based biostimulant to “provide stress reduction, enhance cell enlargement, and increase nutrient uptake” (see fact sheet).
Triad can be foliar and/or soil applied through liquid starter fertilizer to mitigate plant stress from the get-go. Matt Kurtz, Federated’s Rush City location manager, noted that Triad can also be mixed in and applied through a post-herbicide pass, an option that has shown the best results.
Triad is a combination of cytokinin, gibberellic acid, and auxin and can be applied up to three times per growing season on corn, in-furrow or foliar between V2-V6 and/or again at V10-VT.
It can also be applied up to three times per season on soybeans, in-furrow and/or foliar between V4-V6 and/or again at R1-R3.
