Get your restricted-use pesticide applicator certification in WI.
The Federated agronomy team didn’t mean to leave out Wisconsin growers in the late February edition of the Agronomy Update. Here’s the information you need for updating your certification to apply or transport restricted-use pesticides in Wisconsin, referred to as the Private Pesticide Applicator Training (PAT).

This link takes you to all the information Wisconsin growers need to apply for (including testing requirements), renew, or review your private certification for restricted-use pesticides.

Annamarie Zack, Federated ag sales rep in Rush City, said, “It’s good to note that in Wisconsin your certification is good for 5 years and in Minnesota it is good for 3 years.”

If you are a Minnesota grower looking for info on Restricted Use Pesticide (RUP) certification, follow this link.

Contact your Federated Agronomist with any questions. And remember to keep your Minnesota RUP or Wisconsin PAT documentation on hand for any pesticide transaction (or hauling) this spring and summer.
