The Braham Event Center which is operated by Tusen Tack, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Recently, Federated Co-ops donated $17,500 with Co-Bank matching $7,500. These donations will be used to expand the parking surface to support the event center. Tusen Tack builds community and enhances the quality of life of residents in East Central Minnesota through the engagement of volunteers, partnerships with other non-profit organizations and providing services, including the operation of the Tusen Tack Thrift Store, the Braham Event Center, Kathy’s Kitchen on-site catering, the Alice Studt Library, the Braham Area Food Shelf and other charitable activities. The Braham Event Center is mostly volunteer-run and proceeds are circulated back into the surrounding community. Federated Co-ops is committed to the communities they service and is excited for the next 30 years in Braham.
