Annual Meeting Post - 2025

OUR ANNUAL MEETING IS IN THE BOOKS:

YOUR LAND, YOUR COMMUNITY,  YOUR CO-OP. Our tag line says it all. We are grateful our patrons allow us to come on to their land, we are proud to work and live in this great community and the co-op is owned by the patrons that use it. If you do business with us,  you are an owner of the co-op. Our annual meeting was held at our new shop in Ogilvie on April 10th, 2025. Thanks to all the patrons who attended our meeting. It was great to see the familiar faces and the many new patrons that attended.

Federated had another very solid year and is very proud of the partnerships that have been developed over the decades with our patrons.  At the meeting, our 2024 results were reviewed. The team delivered net margin of $11.9 million up over 2023 of $10.6 million. We continue to make investments in safety, our people, equipment, and our processes to drive down our cost to serve. These results translate in a patronage payout of 12.7%, all cash, for all purchases of Ag, propane, and retail products. For fuel purchases the co-op will pay out 6 cents a gallon rebate.  All in, Federated will return over $5.4 million back to the patrons during the month of April. This level is a record for the co-op, and we are grateful to all patrons who put their trust in us. Also, at the meeting three board members were unanimously re-elected. Congratulations to Brad Rootkie, Todd Steffen, and Mike Wayrynen who will serve on the board until 2028.

Over the last 4 years the co-op has returned over $16.5 million back to the patrons in form of 100% cash.  We believe this is the best in the industry and so critical in the ever-changing market we all compete in.  We are also very proud of the donations we make to the communities we live in. This past year we donated money for 38 scholarships, 4H clubs, fire departments and local fairs to name a few.  We know these donations will make a difference for all for years to come in the community.
