Your Info, Our App: Are They in Sync?

Agronomist and grower using app in field
“With warmer temperatures in the forecast, spring will hopefully be here before we know,” and now is the “perfect time” to finalize your crop inputs and farm plans, said Chris Schmidt, Federated ag sales rep from Ogilvie.

Ensuring that you and your agronomist are on the same page is critical as the season begins. And since all of Federated’s grower services run through the FieldAlytics app, it’s important to keep your information current, whether or not you use custom application services.

An up-to-date grower profile allows Federated to cost-effectively map fields, schedule custom applications, dispatch jobs, track test results, make crop management recommendations – and share that information with you.

Your profile in FieldAlytics should accurately list field names, boundaries, proximity to sensitive areas, field entry and building locations, etc. “These are all vital parts to having a successful season and creating the best customer service possible,” said Schmidt.

In the Ogilvie area, for example, something as simple as having building sites and locations marked [in the app] can improve the efficiency of pull spreader and fertilizer deliveries – and “get you in the field faster,” said Schmidt.

“Proper communication between you and your sales agronomist sets you up for a successful growing season!” said Schmidt. Talk to your Federated Agronomist now to verify all information and make updates to your farm’s profile in FieldAlytics.
