YieldBurst™ Technology at Work in the Fields

Enliven boosts plant growth in a Rush City, Minnesota, comparison
The side-by-side trials of Enliven™ with YieldBurst™ technology vs. regular adjuvants are proving that the additional energy and plant protection provided by Enliven makes a difference in the field.

“We’re seeing [soybean] crops that are greener and a bit taller,” said Don Lamker, Federated ag sales rep out of the Rush City and Ogilvie locations. And, when viewed by satellite – images available through FieldView® – there is an even more dramatic difference visible. “The biomass is greater,” said Lamker.

“We are seeing more mass … more leaf surface … more nodes, which means more pods,” said Dale Hanson from Rosen’s. Hanson noted the advantage from Enliven was especially evident in the five to seven days after herbicide applications earlier this year when many parts of Federated’s area were under drought conditions; Enliven noticeably reduced crop stress.

Enliven, “fueled by Yieldburst Technology,” is a non-ionic surfactant that allows the herbicide to penetrate the weeds better. It also provides additional energy and nutrients to help plants synthesize applied chemicals better.

Lamker said it’s an “interesting comparison” between regular adjuvants and Enliven, and he admitted that it’s a “tad more expensive … but, if we can see any kind of yield increase, it’s worth it.” Federated will take the trials to harvest and do a yield comparison. “I’d be surprised if we don’t see a significant yield increase,” he said.
