To-Do’s for the Co-op – and You

Nov 27, 2024

to-do sticky note
Your Federated custom applicators are finishing fall fertilizer applications.

Your Federated Agronomists are reviewing the harvest data to inform their future recommendations.

Your Co-op is evaluating the highs and lows of 2024 to determine the best options and plans for 2025.

And, it’s a good time for you to look back at the 2024 growing season and ask yourself:
“Of the things I can control, what went right and where are improvements needed?”

  • Were nutrients managed well?
  • Was weed control effective and/or sufficient?
  • Were insects and/or diseases addressed?
  • Did hybrids and varieties perform as expected?
  • Are soil tests up to date?
  • Are there any ongoing concerns on the farm?
  • What seed options are on the table for 2025? (Review the Discovery Plot corn and soybean results.)
  • What financing needs to be secured now? (Review this article on seed financing.)

With your info in hand, contact your Federated Agronomists to discuss what lies ahead for your fields and farm. They are ready to help you lay the groundwork for 2025.
