Striding In to Boost ROI

Stride Bio offers corn a strong start.
If you’ve used talc or graphite to make your seed flow a bit more efficiently, you can boost your ROI with a replacement product that adds even more benefit. Stride Bio™ by Rosen’s is one of those products, adding micronutrients and other biologicals that can potentially increase your yields.

“It’s early, but Stride Bio has consistently shown positive returns,” said Anna Blazek, Federated’s Rush City location manager. “Stride Bio has Rosen’s Yield Burst technology, which provides energy for both microorganisms and plants and can add vigor to early seedlings.”

Stride Bio provides multiple agronomic benefits because it:
  • Offers a strong start by providing the seed with essential components
  • Enhances root and root hair development
  • Improves tolerance to stress events all year long
  • Increases seed flow and singulation through the planter
  • Improves crop emergence
  • Dries seed and enhances flowability
“It offers more than just talc and graphite,” Blazek said. “The nutrients and biologicals in there can provide a nice yield bump.”

“It’s a good product,” agreed Kevin Carlson, Federated’s agronomy sales manager. “Your local agronomist can provide accurate data, but you can get a 2-3 bushel bump with Stride Bio, which is a nice ROI.”

Stride Bio can be used in both hopper boxes and center fills. For hopper boxes, you can get the best result by gently stirring in the product. For center fills, adding Stride Bio and seed simultaneously will net the best results.

The product is easy to use, too, because it comes in both an 8-lb shaker and a resealable 35 lb. screw-top package. Best mix is 6 oz./100lbs for corn or 3 oz./100lbs for soybeans.
