SIRRUS SIMPLIFIES SCOUTING AND RECORDKEEPING

The Sirrus app simplifies field scouting and is easily accessible on a smart phone or computer. As growers get into fields to verify crop emergence, “the Sirrus app is a great tool to keep track of scouting reports,” said Mike Slater, agronomy sales rep at Federated’s Isanti location.

With the Sirrus app’s capabilities, “crop staging, emergence, and vigor scores can be recorded,” said Slater, as can weeds, with staging and height information to help growers better prepare for herbicide applications. And in the event of a storm, Slater noted, “crop damage can be entered [into Sirrus] too.”

Information exchange in real time is simple with the Sirrus app. Growers and agronomists can share crop management data – including photos – with a simple click.
