Remember Your 2026 PSP

Time to sign your 2026 PSP
As you make plans for the 2026 crop year and meet with your Federated sales representative, be sure to review and sign an updated Product Service Policy (PSP).

“The Product Service Policy is a great tool that outlines the responsibilities of you, the grower, and Federated Co-ops,” said Chris Schmidt, Federated agronomy sales rep. “It defines steps needed for Federated to make an application to your fields.”

This includes, but is not limited to, trait and chemistry clarification, possible sensitive areas around that point of application, and field scouting before and after a treatment is made to ensure proper control was achieved.
Field accuracy is an amendment we’ve added for 2026. This is extremely important for making a proper and accurate crop protection application. Now is a great time of year to meet with your Federated representative and go through your field maps to amend any changes that may have occurred to ensure accurate placement in 2026.

“The Product Service Policy states Federated’s pledge to you, and outlines the steps necessary to move forward in the event of a missed/and or failed crop protection product application,” Schmidt said.

As you make plans for 2026, take the time to review the Product Service Policy with your Federated Agronomist
to set yourself up for success this growing season!
