Mark Grave, Federated’s propane manager, encourages growers to fill their propane tanks as soon as possible. Discounts are available!
 
He said, “There is typically a struggle to provide the initial fill of corn dryer tanks as combines hit the field across the Midwest at [nearly all] the same time. To alleviate supply and transportation issues, we are offering a discounted price to fill dryer tanks before harvest begins.
 
Discounts on tank fills are available thru Sept. 30, and all crop dryer gallons qualify for a rebate from Federated Co-ops.

• $1.419/gal. for dryer propane tank fills before Sept. 30.
• $1.549/gal. for in-season dryer propane (after Sept. 30).
• Rebates (checks will be cut before yearend):
  • 4,000 – 10,000-gallon purchases will receive $.02 per gallon rebate.
  • 10,000 – 15,000-gallon purchases will receive $.04 per gallon rebate.
  • Over 15,000-gallon purchases will receive $.06 per gallon rebate.
