FieldAlytics For Precise Application and Better Records
Apr 21, 2026
When it comes to field scouting and investigation, you can’t go wrong with FieldAlytics.
“FieldAlytics is the web-based system that Federated uses to dispatch our custom applications and keep records,” said Federated custom application manager Craig Lysne. “Each applicator is equipped with an iPad that has the FieldAlytics app on it. This is how they know which fields to spread/spray and with what products.”
FieldAlytics also shows a map of the field as well as the applicator’s position in that field so that we can be as precise as possible.
“As we all get geared up for spring, I would like to encourage each customer who has Federated custom-apply products to spend a few minutes and verify the fields and boundaries in FieldAlytics with your Federated salesperson,” Lysne said. “By doing so, we can make sure our mapping system is accurate, which leads to quality work from our applicators, as well as more accurate records.”
To get an accurate scouting report, your fields first need to be recorded in the app. Luckily, that’s easy to do when you provide field data to your agronomist. If you’re already a custom application customer, your fields should be recorded in FieldAlytics. Your agronomy sales rep can pull records and maps upon request.
Please make sure you have signed your 2026 product service policy before your custom applications begin. If you are not sure if you have signed one, talk to your Federated Agronomist to take advantage of this valuable scouting service.
