Call Ahead for Custom Application.
Things have gotten off to a slow start this spring but now it’s “go, go, go.” And, the best way to keep things going, said Nick Schaps, ag sales rep at Federated’s Ogilvie location, is to “be one step ahead – let your Federated Agronomist know the day before you need something.”
Schaps mused about growers who call in the morning to ask for a load of fertilizer that day – which is a challenge in the calmest of springs. Your best option is to call the day before you need [custom application services] to keep things moving.
“We are getting things done … there’s plenty of product … we haven’t been short on spreading,” he said. Things are moving along.
