“Beat the rush and fill up now,” said Mike Sperbeck, Federated’s bulk petroleum sales and delivery manager. “Prices are historically low, and diesel is cheap to get,” he said.

Diesel supply is no problem this year, and since it’s “super cheap,” don’t wait to fill tanks now with the fuel that will be needed in a month or less.

Sperbeck noted that once planting starts, demand will rise and “the price will probably creep up a bit.” (He observed that prices had already crept up a bit in just the past week or so.)
