XTENDFLEX® SOYBEANS RECEIVE FULL MARKET APPROVAL

This fall Bayer® received full market approval for their XtendFlex soybeans, paving the way for sale in 2021. XtendFlex® beans are stacked with three traits: Roundup®, Xtend®, and Liberty®.
Since approval was still pending, there were no XtendFlex soybeans planted in the Discovery Plots, but Bayer had their own XtendFlex plots within Federated’s geography, so plot data is available for review. XtendFlex soybeans have Bayer’s own seed genetics stacked with the new XtendFlex trait.
Bayer anticipated approval for 2021 and planted accordingly to ensure the seed would be available for sale, though in limited supply. Demand is expected to be high, especially in view of the major advertising campaigns launched by Bayer in recent weeks. Place XtendFlex orders soon.
