Federated Renews Partnership with Cenex® Lubricants

“We are proud to announce that we have been able to renew our partnership with Cenex® Lubricants,” said John Swanson, Federated’s procurement manager. “For a while we were unable to get small-volume deliveries to our trade territory,” he said, which meant the co-op went elsewhere for lubricants.
Cenex, however, now has two Cenex Lubricant Terminals (CLTs) in Federated’s trade territory – which means they can deliver to Federated Co-ops.
“Our main CLT will be Rochester, MN, but there is also a CLT in Detroit Lakes, MN, if we need additional support,” said Swanson. Federated will receive deliveries from Cenex every other Wednesday, with a 100-gallon minimum on bulk deliveries. “Packaged products, such as drums and cases, can be added once the minimum is met,” he added.
